Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew up in Mexico with a family that loved music. Her early years were shaped by Boleros, classical music and the classic romantic, ranchero, as well as romance ballads. Ana is a lover of the opera and tango genres as well as every form of dramatic performances. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her and sister, she began more intense singing lessons at the age of 16 under the tutelage by renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. In Guadalajara she studied at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca at The School of Sacred Music. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was a member of many chamber and opera choirs. Following her move from Mexico to America in 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She currently performs traditional Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. As an instructor and performer in the local area the passion for arts and music keeps her involved in a range of projects. Ana is also a previous member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Choir for their permission to play the traditional Latin American song.
