Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She is an actress from Germany and Romania. Her best-known films include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra began her career in showbiz early. Her roles included lead characters in television dramas as early as the age of 16.
