Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She's now an actress from Germany and Romania. Her most well-known movies include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of 16she already landed several television roles, which included the leading role in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. The role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historical war film) was both critically and critically acclaimed commercially. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also nominated for Oscars. Alexandra was involved in many notable projects, both nationally as well as internationally. The projects include British biographical films like Control and The Dust of Time as in addition to the French history mini-series Napoleon. She was also on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and also at Cannes Film Festival.
