Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig September 21 1983) is an American actress, best recognized for her performances in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television show Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Her birthplace was Worthington in Ohio. She was kicked out of school when her parents separated to go into Los Angeles to live with her mother. Though she struggled financially in 2001, her debut came in the role of Rachel's Room's principal character. The role she played as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder, in the television movie Murder in Greenwich in 2002 earned her nominations for a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford was the main actress in Lost in its two initial seasons. In 2004, she won the Screen Actors Guild Award with all the cast.
